<한국슬라브·유라시아학회>, 동아시아 슬라브·유라시아 <국제학술대회>(6.28-29) 소식

한국슬라브·유라시아학회(회장: 정세진 교수)에서 제12회 동아시아 슬라브·유라시아 국제학술대회를 6월 28-29일간 한양대학교에서 개최하네요. 무슨 내용을 다루게 되는지 탐구해 봅니다.

한국슬라브·유라시아학회는 1985년에 설립되어 39년이 흘렀네요. 회원 수는 450여명에 이르며, 인문학과 사회과학을 포괄하는 러시아 및 유라시아학 연구의 국내 최대 학회라는 명성을 지니고 있습니다. 학회지는 [슬라브학보]로 계간지 형태로 발간되고 있습니다.

 

이번 회의는 12차에 이르듯 역사가 깊으며, 그간 코로나19로 인해 끊어진 것을 다시 시작하는 겁니다. 이번에는 한국, 중국, 일본, 러시아, 우크라이나 등 17개국에서 200여명이 참가하는 대규모 국제학술대회입니다.

 

국제학술회의는 영문으로 The 12th East Asian Conference on Slavic Eurasian Studies이며,

 

이번 회의의 주제는 “Re-building Peace in Eurasia beyond Conflicts: Humanistic and Socio-Cultural Reinterpretations”입니다.

 

한글로는 “갈등을 넘어 유라시아 평화 재건: 인문학적, 사회문화적 재해석” 쯤 될 것 같네요.
